The Mayor congratulates EurolancheEurolanche received a congratulatory letter from the Mayor of Denver.
The Mayor of Denver has joined the Governor of the State of Colorado in sending a congratulatory letter to the Eurolanche Fan Club on the occasion of its 10th anniversary and the Eurolanche Invasion X. In the letter, Mayor Michael Hancock underlines the loyalty shown by Eurolanche members towards the Colorado Avalanche organization. Eurolanche received the letter on the eve of the Eurolanche Invasion X, which will bring Eurolanche members back to Denver for the tenth time since 2008.
"We appreciate the loyal support for the Colorado Avalanche by the many members of Eurolanche and the organized trips you’ve made over the years to see them here to support in person. Your commitment to the team is extraordinary and has created a unique bond between our city, state and Europe," Mayor Hancock wrote in the congratulatory letter, which is also available at this link.
"We are really thankful for Mayor Hancock’s very nice words. Denver is a beautiful place, where we annually spend a big part of our schedule. It’s always been a great sense of accomplishment, almost a kind of satisfaction to see the public recognize our hard, voluntary work. It drives us forward and inspires us in a lot of ways. Thank you, Mr. Hancock," said Eurolanche Founder and President David Puchovsky.
Michael Hancock (D) has been the Mayor of Denver since 2011, currently serving his second term.
