Eurolanche on the Avalanche bench
For the first time ever, Eurolanche members could watch the Colorado Avalanche warm up right from their bench.Towards the end of Eurolanche on Tour XIII, Eurolanche members in Denver experienced an incredible and unforgettable moment. They could watch the Colorado Avalanche’s warmup directly from their players’ bench. They sat directly in places where only hockey players normally move. The team’s biggest stars were only a few centimeters away from them. You couldn’t possibly get closer to them. Other Fan Club members sat in the penalty boxes and could watch from there.
For each Tour XIII participant, this was the highlight of the Fan Club’s thirteenth overseas trip. A truly surreal experience, which even gave some people goosebumps. Some even received pucks from the warmups with the logo of the game.
The icing on the cake was the opportunity to take a group picture right on the ice at Ball Arena following the game. Both activities took place for the first time in Eurolanche’s history. They capped off a successful day, to which we can’t forget to include the meeting with Milan Hejduk and Jan Hejda.
