The road to 100 Avs games (3.)In this new photo series, we look at Eurolanche's journey to 100 Avs games.

Eurolanche, the largest Colorado Avalanche Fan Club in the world, reached a historic milestone on January 10, 2026, when its members watched the Avalanche's 100th game as part of Eurolanche on Tour, formerly known as Eurolanche Invasion.

To mark the occasion, an extensive article was published with detailed statistics providing an overview of all 100 games that Fan Club members have seen in North America.

Let's now take a look at Eurolanche's journey to this milestone through a photo series and commemorative comments focusing on memorable moments related to attending Avalanche games overseas.

EUROLANCHE INVASION III (2009/10) - 6 games (15/100)

When Eurolanche returned to the US the following season, it was clear that a new tradition was beginning to take shape. Perhaps the highlight of the third trip was meeting Joe Sakic. It was a first. Although he was no longer playing in the NHL, we managed to catch up with him after one of the youth team's training sessions. This trip was particularly challenging due to the difficult journeys on public transport around Denver. The project was still in its infancy, and there was still much to discover, improve, and gradually prepare for trips on a completely different level.

Robert from Romania, an exotic country in terms of hockey, but one that has a history with Eurolanche, also got to meet Sakic.

In front of the team store, where we went dozens of times... and spent a fortune. And how young we were!

In the Pepsi Center auditorium, still with the old seats.

This is how we waited for the players after every game.

We always represented our home countries during practices.

A memorable photo with a commemorative jersey with dozens of signatures. Norbert collected autographs for it from every trip he was on. And he still had a few of them ahead of him at the time.
