Varly wins again; Duchene, Landy 0 pts
Semyon Varlamov is unstoppable in the KHL. The Russian goalie played his fourth game in the league and won his third. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl faced Traktor Celyabinsk. This matchup also finished after the shootout, as did Varly´s win on Saturday. Varlamov saved 37 of 39 shots and did not allow a goal in the shootout again. With the three wins in the stats, Varly has allowed only nine goals and his save percentage is 93 %.

Gabriel
Landeskog debuted in the prestigious European tournament “European Trophy”. His
Swedish team, Djurgarden, played against the Finnish TPS Turku. Djurgarden was
leading 2:0, but finally lost 2:3. Landeskog did not gain a point.
Matt
Duchene played in his second game in the Swedish elite league. Like Landeskog,
Matt did not get his name to the stats. Frolunda lost with the same score 2:3.
Duchene assisted two times in his first game last week.
