David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Phoenix Coyotes.

The timing could not be better, right? Who was ever thinking the Avs could win the game when they allowed first two goals in their net? I bet you all were happy for a while, because everything worked. It looked like Avs were going to finish the season on the second-to-last place. It did not happen. But we should be happy in spite of the win. Duchene hardly hit the net, Stastny was attacked from behind and Giguere has a groin injury. It would not be a surprise for me if 5-10 players got injuries for the next season. Yes, the famous Avalanche charm luck. The game was good, but who cares about it? More important are tonight games. Minnesota has to win in Pepsi Center for clinching the playoffs spot. It would be nice to beat them and finish them their season, Duchene said it too. But in this case, Detroit would get a playoffs spot, what is not in the plan of the Avs fans. The plan is simple. Let Minnesota go to the first round, get a good position for the draft and cross your finger to Nashville and Columbus. It would be nice night.
