Senators 7-1 on Thursday night.
Rookie Gabriel Landeskog, Milan Hejduk and Matt
Duchene each had a goal and an assist, Daniel Winnik and David
Jones also scored and Ryan O'Reilly had three assists for
Colorado. The Avalanche improved to 3-1, going 4-of-6 on the power play in
addition to a shorthanded tally.

Wednesday night in Columbus in the Avalanche's 3-2 shootout victory over the

tied it 3 minutes later on Hejduk's power-play goal.
Colorado took the lead midway through the period when Landeskog beat
Anderson from in close.
NOTES: The Senators wore their heritage jerseys for the first time.
